Jane Bancroft Robinson Foundation
Project Details
The Jane Bancroft Robinson Foundation (JBRF) is committed to improving the health and well-being of Black women residing in Wards 7 and 8, East of the River in Washington, DC. The foundation funds workforce development, cancer navigation, and overall well-being initiatives to achieve its goal. JBRF approached us to develop their brand image and tone from scratch, translating the foundation’s history into visuals that help the audience understand its background and impact.
We began by conducting extensive brand research, including focus groups and interviews, to gain a deeper understanding of JBRF’s history and influence. Leveraging these insights, we developed a comprehensive brand identity that encompassed a logo, style guide, and various collaterals. Additionally, we created a communications plan, a messaging strategy, and a new website.
These critical deliverables established a robust online presence for the brand, setting its tone and direction while enhancing JBRF’s visibility in the philanthropic sector. Our collaborative effort resulted in a distinctive design that effectively communicated JBRF’s mission and positioned it as a significant player in the non-profit landscape.
