The Community Opportunity Alliance (formerly NACEDA) is a national nonprofit dedicated to building the community development field. Also known as the Alliance, the organization empowers residents to shape their neighborhoods’ future, ensuring long-term stability, health, and prosperity. Its mission is to lead and influence community development strategies, advancing community prosperity.
Brandire was tasked with renaming and rebranding NACEDA. We began with market research to understand target audience perceptions of the brand’s look, feel, messaging, name, and tagline. Following this, stakeholder brainstorming led to “Community Opportunity Alliance” as the new name, with the tagline: “Until All Thrive.” The subsequent phase focused on developing tailored messaging for all target audiences and defining core brand messages. The project concluded with the creation of a compelling logo, a comprehensive brand identity system, and a detailed style guide.
